Missing reporting data can be frustrating and more importantly, business-impacting. If you use Genesys PureConnect, you have almost certainly experienced times where the system was temporarily unable to write to the reporting database… which results in reports that don’t contain the expected data.

Thankfully, in most cases, this data is queued up on the PureConnect server. When an interruption like this happens, the queued data (stored in .ERR files on the active PureConnect server) must be reprocessed once connectivity/access to the database has been restored.

Over the years, Genesys has created a number of documents to address data recovery. The purpose of this PMQ Recovery Guide is to unify all of Genesys’ recommendations (which have changed over the years as the product has matured) into a single, coherent process that you can follow, with the guidance of your Support Partner.
