CX Solution Developer

Communications Products, Inc. (CPI), a leading Solutions Integrator of CRM, contact center, voice and connectivity solutions, is seeking a full-time CX Solution Developer. 

The position is primarily responsible for the deployment of CX custom development and configuration as specified by the business requirements defined by the customer. As a CX Solution Engineer you will work closely with our CX team of Project Managers and CX Design Managers in order to deliver a best-in-class product for CPI customers. Individuals applying for the position should have a strong understanding of Javascript, Model-View-Controller (MVC) frameworks, modern Javascript frameworks, CSS, HTML, HTML 5, single page applications, .NET and PHP development, relational databases, NoSQL databases and web services. Experience with the Oracle CRM “Service Cloud” formerly “Right Now” is a plus but not required. Additional responsibilities include assisting in planning sessions with clients, quality assurance, application training of technical nature and troubleshooting of existing deployments.
The position requires a highly-motivated individual to work with multiple development platforms. Individual must possess a working knowledge of the telecommunications industry as well as strong analytic and problem-solving skills. Prior Oracle CX experience is strongly desired.
  • Extensive interaction with internal resources, CPI clients and resources from our manufacturers.
  • Perform development work on new and existing releases.
  • Actively and regularly update Project Management Team on resource requirements.
  • Management of multiple concurrent projects.
  • May assist with Sales and/or new business opportunities.
  • Provides day-to-day tactical feedback in regards to project deliverables.
  • Responsible for driving execution through improvements to customer interfaces, tracking progress and action items.
  • Validates business and technical requirements with input from subject matter experts and stakeholders.
  • Manages administration and quality of technology including all work-flow, configuration and output
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintains a master content calendar for all development releases.
  • Contribute policies and procedures documentation required to support an implementation.
  • Other responsibilities as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is required; Web Development, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent field is desired.
  • Three to Five years of directly related experience with content management systems, website analytics platforms and web development required.
  • A minimum of three years of demonstrated experience designing and maintaining complex web sites using Javascript, Model-View-Controller (MVC) frameworks, modern Javascript frameworks, CSS, HTML, HTML5, single page applications, and/or another programming language.
  • Working knowledge of and/or experience with multiple digital platforms, Adobe Experience Manager, CMS, and MySQL are desired. PHP is required..
  • Must possess good design sense and have a knowledge of current best practices for web creation and design.
  • Demonstrated expertise gathering and converting business requirements into technical requirements and functionality to support development of web content management systems.

  • Experience with the Oracle/RightNow platform preferred.
